ESI ProCAST 2021.5 Suite is a casting simulation software developed for the foundry industry to enhance casting yield and quality. This advanced tool has been created through extensive collaboration with industrial partners and academic institutions worldwide, offering sophisticated solutions for various casting processes.
ESI ProCAST Suite includes QuikCAST, a sand and die casting simulation software focusing on filling, casting solidification, and porosity prediction. The program is built on Finite Element technology and can predict deformations, residual stresses, and address specific processes such as investment casting, semi-solid modeling, core blowing, centrifugal casting, lost foam, and continuous casting.
ESI ProCAST Suite is suitable for simulating various casting processes, defect detection, residual stresses, part distortion, microstructure, and mechanical properties prediction. The software has been recognized with the European Technology Leadership of the Year Award from Frost & Sullivan.
