CAD-Earth for AutoCAD is a powerful software designed to easily import/export images, objects, and terrain meshes between Google Earth and major CAD programs. It allows users to create dynamic contour lines and profiles for their projects, enhancing the design process.
CAD-Earth for AutoCAD offers a seamless integration with Google Earth, allowing users to import images from various service providers such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Ovi. Users can choose different image resolutions and modes, and the images can be imported to CAD programs in full color or grayscale. The software also enables users to georeference imported images by creating a world text file containing spatial data information.
Users can export CAD objects to Google Earth as polygons, routes, or placemarks, with the option to customize line thickness, outline, fill color, and opacity. The software allows for control over curve smoothness and the ability to set placemark properties such as name, description, scale, and icon.
In the Plus version of CAD-Earth, users can generate contour lines, profiles, and sections from Google Earth. The software creates a terrain configuration mesh based on point elevations from Google Earth, allowing users to adjust mesh density and precision. This feature enables users to obtain contour lines, dynamic profiles, and section drawings with annotations.
